i have been using garnier fructis fortifying shampoo and conditioner but my hair is just too dry. i live in a hot climate where it's humid and im trying to get my hair to not poof. im starting with shampoo and conditioner. i need something that is good for dry hair. both ideas for conditioner and shampoo would be greatly appreciated and any pros/cons.

Use Dove shampoo and conditioner, and just wash your hair, then leave the conditioner on for three to five Min's. For a deep conditioner use a hot oil treatment, which you use in the shower, before shampooing you hair, use this once a week. Also your diet and lifestyle makes a difference, eat healthly, take a daily multi-vitamin, and B-complex vitamin, and get plenty of sleep. Do not use things that will dry your hair out more, blow drying, clorine from pools etc. Best wishes and Happy New Year.

i have very thick hair and i recomend the dove moisturizing it made my hair so much more soft but i think it costs slightly more...i think its worth it

I have very thick, curly hair and I use Suave Humectant shampoo and conditioner. It is 2.50 a bottle. My stylist told me to use this as the expensive products really do not contain anything better. I love it.

Neither! Try a new brand just coming out called Organix. Its got organic active ingredients and is sulfate free, so it won't dry out your hair. the fragrances are amazing. You'll be able to get Organix beginning in the next few weeks at Kroger, Target, Albertsons, Duane Reade, etc. Its awesome!

Dove is good, but I think you should use Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor. My hair used to be dry but since i started using that i have noticed an incredible difference in the condition of my hair- it's softer and more manageable.
