How can I get my hair to grow again?

I have had braids/cornrows for 10 years now and in the last 2 years my hair has not grown at all. It actually has gotten shorter. I'm an african american male with thick, borderline curly hair...any idea how to get it to grow again? Thanks for any help.

first i would suggest that you go with the low waves that is so much sexier.

This depends. How long are you leaving your hair braided at a time? Braids, especially tight ones, can break off the hair. So, it's not that your hair isn't growing... it's just that as your hair is growing, the ends are breaking. Your ends are probaly splitting all the way up to the root. Get your ends clipped! And let your hair get a break from those braids. It sounds like you have pretty hair. There's no need to keep it braided up all the time.

take vitamins for hair skin and nails or multis containing pantonin, biotin and insositol. keep your scalp soft and free from flakes that trap hair underneath from coming in brush scalp every day not too rough you'll get scabs

From what I heard, keeping hair braided for that length of time will definitely make you fall out. No one should have braids in there hair that long. What you need to do is keep your hair out of braids for a while. Also, take biotin, it will help strengthen your roots again.

I would use Dr.Miracles Shampoo and DooGro after products. That defintly helped my hair grow.
