Why does my electric shaver miss hair?

i understand that my electric shaver will not be as close as a razor, that is not the issue. I just baught a new electric razor, a remington. it works great on my face, but it misses alot of hair on my neck. it just wont cut them at all, no matter how many times i run the shaver over it, in different directions. it just leaves about 15 hairs on my neck completely untouched, so the rest looks smooth but then there is these few hairs noticeably long just sticking out. i dont understnad why it works fine all over everywhere else but just wont cut these hairs. any ideas?

first off electic shaver(in my opinion) DONT get a close enough shave, secondly it might be clogged if yours is the kind that uses the three heads, it might need hair to be removed from it

neck hairs are different than face hairs. totally different texture. they are probably too thin to cut.

Change the direction of using it, your hair could be in rosette (meaning different hair direction), and try to clean it before and after using, there could be hair that was stock inside that forbid the blade to get the rest of your hair. Good luck, let me know if this help you.
