As a teenager, I enjoy the random colors of purple, green, and red in my hair. I was thinking about dying my top hair red, and my bottom black.

Is this appropriate for a part-time job? Should I wait until I've been working for a month or should I just get it done beforehand?

It depends on what kind of "work place". Some places have a dress code that you have to follow and it could include somthing about hair. I personally think that those rules are stupid because I think that human's should be able to do what ever they want to their body and it shouldn't affect anyone at all around you.

I think it depends on where you're working. If you're working in an office setting, public library, etc., then I would say definitely NO! However, if you're working at a food stand, a grocery store, etc., then it might be acceptable, but you should ask your manager.
