Got an idea for a pretty hair style i can wear at my dance? Help is sooo welcome!!!?

I am going to my turnabout in a week or two and im getting it done at this place i go to. I have brown curly hair [[not crazy curly, its like tammed-curly]] and i always get compliments when i straighten my hair...which is hardly ever. I dont want to just wear it straight cuz i want to look stunning for this day. I am wearing a silver dress, halter, and i am tan. Any ideas? be specific please!!

p.s. please dont suggest i ask the person who is doing my hair, because i have been going to her for years and she prefers it when i have a thought of what i want in mind.

an always great and beautiful way is up in a basic pony tail, then have it all curled and pinned up in loose locks so the pony tail is not just hanging.. very natural and done at the same time. you can adjust it by how high you have it on your head, along with a bit of poof by your bang area and a bit of wisps on the sides or bangs. hope this helps. have fun!!!

Put your hair in a half up half down kind of a style and straighten the bottom half of your hair. Then take the top part and act as if you are going to put it in a ponytail and the last time you are about to pull it through just pull it halfway leaving it in a bun position.Pull out 2 curls and leave one hanging on each side. If you don't really get what I am trying to say then go to my profile and get my aim so I could post a video of what I mean on youtube tomorrow and I will show you,
